Lady Emmeline
This is Emmeline. She’s a beautiful limited edition handmade doll from the new Debutantes Collection.
The social season is about to begin, and Emmeline is filled with excitement as she prepares to attend the highly anticipated debutante ball. This will be her first ball ever but she knows what to expect as her sisters, who have all debuted, have given her a run-down. Gorgeous ladies in fine dresses, handsome young men and lots and lots of dancing. She’s so looking forward to tonight!
Emmeline has been made with seeded calico fabric. Her face is hand painted and her hair has been styled using a soft wool. Her Regency dress is adorned with a satin ribbon and ruched bow. Hidden under her voile petticoat are a pair of dainty tie-up boots. And her very dear papa has presented her with a silver beaded tiara to complete the ensemble for the ball. Lucky girl!
Each of The Debutantes stands about 32 cm tall and would make the perfect gift for a grown-up child all the way through to those who are just young at heart. Please note that her clothing and accessories have been constructed with small parts and would definitely not be suitable for infants, toddlers or younger children. The tiara has been secured with ribbons around her bun and should be removed if this presents a safety concern.
