This is Maddie. She’s part of the new Sweet Pea collection of dress-up dolls.
Designed with imagination in mind, Maddie is perfect for everyday play. Her clothes are removable and can be switched with other items of clothing available for separate purchase in-store. The Sweet Peas are made with seeded calico and interlock cotton jersey fabrics. This makes them sturdy, cuddly and easy to dress. Their hair is also jersey and won’t tangle and wear. Their faces are embroidered and hand-coloured. They stand about 44cm tall.
Each doll in the Sweet Pea collection comes with her own outfit which can be beautifully mixed and matched. Maddie is dressed in a blue skirt made of cotton drill with a handmade ruffle along the hem. Beneath her skirt she’s wearing a soft white cotton voile petticoat. Her top is made of woven white cotton, with a yellow peter pan collar. A bear applique has been added to the front of her top. She’s also wearing a pair of sensible undies!
Her clothing is secured with elastic and velcro.
